Natasa Theodoridou (Greek: Νατάσα Θεοδωρίδου; born 24 October 1970, in Thessaloniki) is a Greek singer. She is the only female Greek artist to have her first three albums achieve platinum status. [2] She has been certified for a total of at least 432 thousand albums and 20 thousand singles sales by IFPI Greece.
The first time the contest took place in Thessaloniki in 1962, it was organized by the Thessaloniki International Fair, in partnership with the Greek Music Association, at the stadium of the city's YMCA. [1] The first contest in Thessaloniki also marked the start of Alkis Steas' career as presenter of the show from 1962 until 1980. [1]
In 1977, she released her first solo album Χαμόγελο της Λιζέτας ("Smile of Lizeta"), which included songs by Tsitsanis, Markopoulos, Giannis Spanos, and Dimos Moutsis. [2] [3] During her career Nikolaou recorded over 150 songs. [3] Between 1978 and 1983, she was married to journalist and politician Giorgos Lianis. [2]
Vossou was born in 1961 in Patras.She grew up in Athens where she studied music. In 1984 she took part in the Thessaloniki Song Contest where she won first prize. Following her success, Vossou began singing in nightclubs and soon released her first record Sophia, a pop and rock album.

In January 2011, Kelekidou has embarked on a North American tour with Kourkoulis, performing in Montreal, Chicago, Boston, Toronto, and Atlantic City. [ 12 ] Since her return to Greece in 2018 (after having lived in Australia since 2014), she is now signed with the record label Panik Platinum [ 13 ] and has released a new single Sti Thessaloniki .
She had planned on studying physics, but she met her mentor, Greek composer Mimis Plessas, who persuaded her to become a singer. She began her career in 1959 performing with the ERT orchestra. In 1964, she won first prize in the Thessaloniki Song Festival. At age 74, she died at a Piraeus hospital in 2014 from cancer.
Marinella was the first Greek singer to participate in the International MIDEM Festival of 1973 in Cannes with three new songs composed by Stavros Xarchakos. [12] She also participated in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1974 , placing eleventh with the song " Krasi, thalassa kai t' agori mou " ("Wine, sea and my boyfriend").
