Gerald Strang (February 13, 1908 – November 2, 1983) was an American composer who later in life turned to electronic and computer music. Early in his career he worked with Arnold Schoenberg as a teaching assistant and became one of the disciples of Schoenberg's American period.
After his playing career, he was the baseball coach at Georgia Tech in 1902 and Army from 1909 to 1917. Strang died in Chattanooga, Tennessee, at age 55. He was buried in its National Cemetery. Sammy was a descendant of John Penn, a signer of the Declaration of Independence. He was a distant relative of First Lady Laura Bush.

Ian Patrick McLagan (/ m ə k ˈ l æ ɡ ən /; 12 May 1945 – 3 December 2014) was an English keyboardist, best known as a member of the rock bands Small Faces and Faces. He also collaborated with the Rolling Stones and led his own band from the late 1970s.
