The Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport, a department of the government of New South Wales, delivers services that promote trade, hospitality, racing, arts, tourism and sport in the state of New South Wales, Australia.
Destination NSW is a New South Wales state government executive agency established in 2011 to support growth of tourism and events in New South Wales, Australia. [2] The agency falls within the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport of the New South Wales government.
The Department was the lead agency in the Enterprise, Investment and Trade cluster, led by secretary, Elizabeth Mildwater from October 2022. [3] The Group Deputy Secretary of Tourism, Sport and Arts within the department is presently Kate Foy.
In 2011 the portfolio was absorbed by the new portfolio of Tourism, Major Events, Hospitality and Racing and remained a named part of portfolios until 2019 when it became part of the portfolio of Jobs, Investment, Tourism and Western Sydney.
