Valley Forge is an unincorporated community in Carter County, Tennessee. [1] Located along US Route 19E/321 and SR-67, south of Elizabethton and north of Hampton. It's home to one of the largest churches in Carter County. Valley Forge Christian Church. New businesses are popping up, including a new A & L Vape and Tobacco off 19E.
Valley Forge was designated a U.S. National Historic Landmark in 1961 and was listed in the initial National Register of Historic Places in 1966. [8] [9] The area covered by these listings goes outside what was then Valley Forge State Park boundaries to include four historic houses where the Marquis de Lafayette and other officers were quartered.

The Walker Sisters Place was a homestead in the Great Smoky Mountains of Sevier County, in the U.S. state of Tennessee.The surviving structures—which include the cabin, springhouse, and corn crib—were once part of a farm that belonged to the Walker sisters—five sisters who became local legends because of their adherence to traditional ways of living.
