The last non-EOS based SLR camera produced by Canon, the Canon T90 of 1986, is widely regarded as the template for the EOS line of camera bodies, although the T90 employed the older FD lens-mount standard. For a detailed list of EOS Film and digital SLR cameras, see Canon EOS.
Fujifilm FinePix X100. This is a list of large sensor fixed-lens cameras, also known as premium compact cameras or high-end point-and-shoot cameras. These are digital cameras with a non-interchangeable lens and a 1.0‑type (“1‑inch”) image sensor or larger, excluding smartphones and camcorders.
While Canon uses a factor of 1.6×, the other four brands all use 1.5×. APS-C cameras use a smaller area to form the image than traditional 35 mm cameras, and so lenses used on APS-C format cameras have a correspondingly narrower field of view. While there were larger CCD sensors made for interchangeable-lens cameras, such as the Leica M9, CCD sensors in fixed-lens cameras maxed out at 2/3″ (1/1.5″). Premium compact cameras of the time contained sensors around 1/1.7″ in size, whereas entry-level models used 1/2.3″ sensors or smaller.
All successive Canon Digital SLR cameras with APS-C sensors can mount EF-S lenses. When it was released, recommended retail price in the USA was $1,999 (£1,520). [1]
