Omega is prison gang turned organised crime group based in Singapore.Formed in the old Chia Keng Prison [1] in 1989, Omega is a monoethnic with mainly Malay Muslim members. [2] [3] [4] As secret societies were predominantly Chinese in pre- and post-independent Singapore, Omega's strong Malay Muslim identity has made it one of the most significant Malay secret societies in the country.
