The Wichita State Shockers track and field team is the track and field program that represents Wichita State University. The Shockers compete in NCAA Division I as a member of the American Athletic Conference. The team is based in Wichita, Kansas at the Cessna Stadium. [2] The program is coached by Steve Rainbolt. [3]
In 2004–05, Wichita State continued to improve, reaching the third game of the NIT, and taking the Shockers to back-to-back-to-back postseason trips for the first time since 1987–88–89.
