The South Campus (Courtyard) is a low-barrier emergency shelter where individuals experiencing homelessness can take refuge as needed. Through our many community partners, clients at have access to three meals daily, safe indoor sleeping, shower facilities, medical care, mental health services, and more.

Haven for Hope is San Antonio’s largest shelter serving those experiencing homelessness, and we serve 85% of the homeless population here in the city. We operate 24/7 and never turn a family away. Haven has been providing support to those in need since 2010, but we’re more than just a shelter.
Our clients have access to safe, indoor sleeping; food and clothing; medical, dental and vision care; and resources designed to address substance use, mental health, income and skills development, ID recovery and more. Haven’s one-stop concept has become a national model for addressing homelessness.

Haven for Hope is a place of hope and new beginnings for people in Bexar County who are experiencing homelessness. It is made up of two major programs: the Courtyard and the Transformational Campus. Both are on the Haven for Hope property and require a visit to the Intake Department to get started.

Haven for Hope is a grant funded homeless assistance facility which offers safe sleeping quarters and basic needs. Individuals or families experiencing homelessness can receive housing, education, counseling and support in order to assist with gaining permanent housing.
