The "snafu" part of the English title has no analogue in the Japanese title. I've only seen the first episode of Oregairu but it wouldn't surprise me if the English translators just tossed that in because they thought it sounded good, and there was no event in the series that "snafu" was supposed to refer to.
"You say that as though I didn't say I would yesterday." Yup. That's definitely what I did, and any other recountings that make it out to be something more embarrassing are slander. "My chair's still here, so obviously you expected me." "Oh. I guess so." My clubmate goes back to reading whatever fanfiction is on his phone with a shrug.

Here came the sidewalk now. My nose touched first, and I heard a sickening crack before it all went black. This.
For a moment my heart stops beating, fearing that I'd offended them, but then they promptly burst into varying levels of laughter, with Keika being the loudest, Sensei being a hearty chuckle, and Yukinoshita-san a quiet giggle. "It must've been your eyes, Hachiman." "Oi, enough with the eyes. Keika, tell her it's not because of my eyes."
