The Varde (Danish: Varde Å) is a river of Jutland, Denmark.With a length of approximately 40 kilometres (25 mi), [1] it is the third longest watercourse in Denmark, and has a catchment area of 1,088 square kilometres (420 sq mi).
The Vidå or, with the definite article, Vidåen (German: Wiedau, North Frisian Widuu) is a creek in the Jutland region of Denmark. The creek starts east of Tønder and flows around sixty-nine kilometres to the west, ending in the North Sea near Højer. [1] In places the Vidå marks the border between Denmark and Germany (through the Rudbøl Sø).
