June 18, 1985. Broad Street United Methodist Church is a historic Methodist church in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. This church is one of five on East Broad Street built around the year 1900. [ 2][ 3] It was built in 1885 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. The church was designed by Yost & Packard with green serpentine stone.

Needing more room, the Methodist Episcopal Church purchased a lot on Sycamore Street and constructed a simple wooden structure in 1825. This church was the first built in Woodsfield. The wooden structure was an 18 foot high, one story building with a central door framed by a window on either side, with three windows on the side facade.
