The Digital Pen is an ink pen combined with a digital camera that digitally records everything that is written. It works by recognizing a non-repeating dot pattern printed on the paper. The non-repeating nature of the pattern means that the pen is able to determine which page is being written on, and where on the page the pen is.

In 2012, the company released the Metropolitan (known as Cocoon in Japan), a popular entry-level fountain pen. The Varsity is a disposable fountain pen that is pre-loaded with ink, while the Prera is a smaller pocket pen. Other offerings include the Pilot Falcon, which has a semi-flexible gold nib.
Some of its brands of fountain pens include Hero, Wing Sung, Lucky, Huafu, Xinming, Guanleming, Xinhua, and Gentleman. The design of some of its Hero pens, such as the Hero 616 or Hero 100, resemble that of the Parker 51, a popular American-made pen. Hero fountain pens were very popular in India from the 1970s to 1990s.
Throughout the 1950s and 1960s, the Bic Cristal's writing tip and ergonomic design helped shift the worldwide market for pens from fountain pens to ballpoints. In 1959 Bich brought the pen to the American market: the Bic pen was soon selling at 29 cents (equivalent to $3.13 in 2024) with the slogan "writes first time, every time."
