The John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge (previously called the Shelby Street Bridge or Shelby Avenue Bridge) is a truss bridge that spans the Cumberland River in Nashville, Tennessee, United States. The bridge spans 3,150 feet (960 m) [ 1 ] and is one of the longest pedestrian bridges in the world.
It was designed by architect William Crawford Smith [4] [5] and built in 1897 as part of the Tennessee Centennial Exposition. Today, the Parthenon, which functions as an art museum, stands as the centerpiece of Centennial Park, a large public park just west of downtown Nashville.
Cannery Hall is the largest independent music venue in Nashville. Anchoring Cannery Row, just outside of downtown Nashville’s lower Broadway and “The Gulch,” Cannery Hall is located in the Station District. The historic building dates to 1883 and has been a music venue for over 40 years.
