In 1989, Lazarus' sprawling downtown Columbus flagship store became one of the three anchors of Columbus City Center mall, when developer Taubman Centers constructed a pedestrian skywalk to it over South High Street.
Zettler Hardware Co. (founded by Zettler in 1886) moved into the space in 1925, occupying it until 1940. The hardware company moved into another space downtown, and has since expanded to several locations around Central Ohio. The business is still owned by the Zettler family, and is the oldest hardware retailer in Columbus.

Nagy Brothers Shoe Repair is a historic building in the Hungarian Village neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio. The one-story structure was built in 1932 in a vernacular commercial style. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] The building was historically used as a shoe repair shop and gas station.
Original plans called for the monorail to complete a circuit around the property, however, this has never been completed and unused supports still remain around the property. [8] In 2019, the store opened "The Oscar Station", a bourbon bar experience housed within the monorail station. [ 9 ]

In 1947, Georgia was a single numbering plan area (NPA) with area code 404. In 1954, 912 was assigned to its southern and central areas. The state operated with two area codes until May 3, 1992, when area code 706 was created for the two separate areas outside of the metro Atlanta area.
