Nova 106.9 (call sign: 4BNE) is a commercial radio station operating in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, owned by NOVA Entertainment. DMG Radio purchased the Brisbane FM licence for $80 million in April 2004 to complete their national network of Nova stations. The Nova Network is a group of Australian radio stations owned wholly or in part by Nova Entertainment. The Perth station is a joint venture between Nova Entertainment and ARN . Each station has its own local Breakfast show with workdays, drive, night and weekend shifts shared across the network.
Nova Entertainment was formed in early 1996 under the name DMG Radio Australia, followed later in the year with the A$46M acquisition of 85% of the Broadcast Media group of regional stations.
