From the event's inception in 1971 through 1974, it was played at Crow Valley Country Club in Davenport, Iowa. It then moved to Oakwood Country Club in Coal Valley, Illinois from 1975 to 1999. Beginning in 2000, the event has been at the TPC at Deere Run in Silvis. [7]

The village of Coal Valley is located in both Rock Island County and Henry County in the U.S. state of Illinois. The population was 3,873 at the time of the 2020 census, up from 3,743 at the 2010 census. [2] It is mostly residential, housing families who work in or out of the greater Quad Cities Area and is considered a suburb.

Near the end of the season, reports surfaced that the club had entered into a deal with St. Louis "interests" to move the club. The team lost its last home game by a score of 3–2 to the Americans on March 15, 1934, before a crowd of 6,500. The final game of the season was a 2–2 tie with the Maroons at the Montreal Forum on March 18, 1934.
He was on the taxi squad in 1969 and played in one game in 1970. He signed as a free agent with the St. Louis Cardinals in 1971 where he played for four seasons. Miller primarily played on special teams with the Cardinals, but he did start nine games at linebacker in 1972 and recorded one sack. Miller retired from football in 1975.
