The Irish Tenors are a singing trio from Ireland that was started in 1998 by a group of television producers for a PBS special The Irish Tenors. They have since recorded five PBS specials and eight albums. The group's members are Declan Kelly, Anthony Kearns and Ronan Tynan.
Kearns' [3] career took a leap in 1998 when Irish producer Bill Hughes and PBS joined forces to begin The Irish Tenors. Kearns, an original member of The Irish Tenors, collaborated with tenors Ronan Tynan, John McDermott, and Finbar Wright to net Gold, Platinum, and Double Platinum CD recognitions. [4]

Ronan Tynan (born 14 May 1960) is an Irish tenor singer and former Paralympic athlete.. He was a member of The Irish Tenors re-joining in 2011 while continuing to pursue his solo career since May 2004.

Karl's was heard by two Irish Tenors, Anthony Kearns and Finbar Wright, who invited him to join the group in 2006. Soon after Karl returned to the screens to star in 'The Irish Tenors and Friends,' a 10 part television show. [2] From 2006–2011, Karl was a member of The Irish Tenors and performed with them and as a soloist in Europe and the US.
He also joined the Three Irish Tenors, who toured throughout the United States, and was also part of the band Druid. He released a solo album entitled Timeless in 2005. Dunphy later became a member of the four-person Irish folk band The High Kings (2008–present), along with Finbarr Clancy, Darren Holden and Martin Furey. [2]
