Legendary Studio Ghibli filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki maintains his run as only the Asian director to win in best animated feature Oscar for "The Boy and the Heron."

[1] However, Miyazaki was presented Japan's Bunshun Raspberry Award for "Worst Director", with Tales from Earthsea receiving the award for "Worst Movie", at the end of 2006. [ 10 ]
