Datu Daya was a legendary lord of Kandaya ("Daya's (kingdom)"), the place that is now known as Daanbantayan, Cebu, in the Philippines. [1] According to oral tradition, Datu Daya was the ruler of the first settlers in northern Cebu. The new settlers cleared forests and in a few years were able to establish a progressive community.
The earliest known fossil member of Pekania is P. occulta from the Rattlesnake Formation of Oregon, which is about 7 million years old but already very similar to the fisher. [1] Although endemic to North America today, Pekania may also have occurred in Asia in the past, with the first species known from between 2.5 and 5.0 million years ago.
Trigonictis is most closely related to the modern neotropical galictines, Sminthosinis and possibly Canimartes. [3] According to Kurtén and Anderson, Trigonictis macrodon was about the size of the modern fisher, quickly moving and very capable of swimming.
Its coastal plain constitutes about 9.7% while semi-rounded hills constitute the biggest portion of the island covering about 14.4% of the total area. The mangrove forest has an area of about 10.1 hectares or 5.8% of the island. The highest point was measured at 55 metres (180 feet) above sea level. [1]

Edward Fisher (fl. 1627–1655) was an English theological writer. Fisher is usually identified with "E.F.". the author of The Marrow of Modern Divinity (1645), [ 1 ] a work which influentially stated the doctrine of unconditional grace , [ 2 ] and was at the centre of the later Marrow Controversy .
