Sarawak (/ s ə ˈ r ɑː w ɒ k / sə-RAH-wok, Malay:) is a state [18] [19] of Malaysia.The largest among the 13 states, with an area almost equal to that of Peninsular Malaysia, Sarawak is located in East Malaysia in northwest Borneo, and is bordered by the Malaysian state of Sabah to the northeast, Kalimantan (the Indonesian portion of Borneo) to the south, and Brunei in the north.
Betong Division, formed on 26 March 2002, is one of the twelve administrative divisions in Sarawak, Malaysia. Formerly part of Sri Aman Division, Betong is in the Saribas area. It has a total area of 4,180.8 square kilometres, and is the smallest of the administrative divisions of Sarawak.
Sibu District is an administrative district in Sibu Division, Sarawak, Malaysia covering a total area of 2229.8 km 2. [2] It can be divided into Sibu Town area (129.5 km 2) [3] and the rural areas (2,100.3 km 2). The satellite township of Sibu Jaya (26 km away from the Sibu city) is included in the rural areas. [4]
People of Limbang Division can opt for rural shuttle bus service to Ng. Medamit and Tedungan from Limbang town, and also Sundar and Trusan from Lawas town. There are some rural areas which are accessible by timber tracks and palm estate roads such as Long Tengom, Long Sukang, Merarap, Long Semado, Rutoh and Ba'Kelalan.
Limbang District has a police district office. There are also police stations and police bits located at strategic locations, as well as rural areas. Despite being the fourth largest division, Limbang Division so far has no district military bases. This is also true for Limbang District.
