Connectivity problems with Macbook pro Hi, my (quite) recently purchased Macbook pro 16 inch has been having issues connecting to my house wifi. The wifi symbol will show that it’s connected but I am offline on my web browsers and apps.
They can be altered without notifying you and affect your connection. This can be because of a DNS issue on your Mac or, if you use a VPN, the network settings can be affected by the software. VPN software on your computer can alter these settings so ensure it is closed and not running.
Dakoolist's suggestion did not resolve my problem of sending emails and my SMTP being "offline". This is what solved my problem, bear in mind that I am using OSX 10.8.1, so these steps may not be exactly what you see in your Mail program if you are working with an earlier version of OSX. -Verified multiple times the printer IS on my network both via my WiFi router settings and at the printer.-Printed Network status sheet directly from printer and it tells me my connection is EXCELLENT every time. -Restarted both MacBook and Printer multiple times-Reset printer to default settings and set back up

However this morning I decided to plug my iPhone 6s into my pc and restore the music library from a backup I had, having done it before the problem appeared. After the restore I re-downloaded the musics on my iPhone and now I can play them offline normally. I hope that works for you and sorry for my bad English. Take care
