The University of Auckland Faculty of Creative Arts and Industries (CAI), formerly known as the National Institute of Creative Arts and Industries (NICAI) is one of nine faculties that make up the University of Auckland. Inside the Recreation Centre of the University of Auckland, City Campus in 2019. The Recreation Centre was replaced by a new Recreation and Wellness Centre in late 2024. Queen Elizabeth II opened the new School of Medicine Building at Grafton on 24 March 1970. The Queen also opened the Liggins Institute in 2002. [12]
