TV 2 Nyheter (TV 2 News) is a 24-hour Norwegian language television news channel which started broadcasting on 15 January 2007. It is Norway 's first national news network in Norwegian , although Nyhetskanalen did exist from 1997 to 1998.
The channel is a premium pay channel with a relatively high price (159 NOK per month, as of 2009). In addition to the main channel, it also offered four extra channels, TV 2 Sport 2, TV 2 Sport 3, TV 2 Sport 4 and TV 2 Sport 5, which allowed them to broadcast five matches at once. The extra channels were, however, not available terrestrially.
TV 2 Zebra is a Norwegian television channel showing entertainment programmes, interactive programmes and live sport mainly targeted towards a male audience.
