Israel's National Student and Youth Council (Hebrew: מועצת התלמידים והנוער הארצית, Mo'etzet HaTalmidim VeHaNo'ar HaArtzit) is an elected body representing the Israeli students and youth in Israel from the 7th grade to the 12 grade [1] in front of the Israeli decision makers of the Ministry of Education (Israel) and in other government offices.
The department works first and foremost to advance the quality of learning and the accessibility of Israel’s young population to higher education institutes and vocational schools. Secondly, it represents pro student legislation and the student community before the council for higher education and the planning and budget committees.
The organization was established alongside the "National Union of Israeli Students" which incorporated student unions of seven universities in Israel and several other colleges. Organization were members of 30 fraternities throughout the country and totaled one hundred thousand students.
