Orville Willis Forte IV (/ ˈ f ɔːr t eɪ / FOR-tay; [1] born June 17, 1970 [2]) is an American actor, writer, and comedian.He was a cast member and writer on the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live for eight seasons from 2002 to 2010.

Forte grew up in Slidell, Louisiana, and graduated from Slidell High School in 2004, where he was a letterman in football and track & field. [3] As a junior, he rushed for 1,057 rushing yards with eight rushing touchdowns, and caught 30 passes for 365 yards and three receiving touchdowns.
