Amritpex 2023 was the national philatelic exhibition organized by India Post, Government of India in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Philatelic Congress of India (PCI). It was held at Halls No. 5 of the Pragati Maidan Exhibition Complex, New Delhi, India from 11 to 15 February 2023. [1] [2]
Pragati Maidan is flanked by Mathura Road to its west and Bhairon Road on the south. To its east runs the main railway line to Central and Southern India. The Pragati Maidan hosts the World Book Fair every year. The New Delhi World Book Fair, hosted at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, is India's second oldest book fair after the Kolkata Book Fair. The first New Delhi World Book Fair was held from March 18 to April 4, 1972, in roughly 6790 m 2 area with 200 participants.
It was inaugurated on 9 January 1992 by the then Prime Minister of India, P.V.Narasimha Rao and is situated between the Gate Nos. 1 and 2 of the Pragati Maidan exhibition grounds, on the Bhairon Road, across Purana Qila, Delhi.
