Al-Rayyan Sports Club (Arabic: نادي الريان الرياضي) is a Qatari multi-sports club fielding teams in a number of sports such as football, futsal, basketball, volleyball, handball, athletics, table tennis, and swimming.
Moufak Awad [1] [2] (Arabic: موفق عوض; born 11 May 1997), is a Qatari professional footballer who plays as a right back for Qatar Stars League side Al-Rayyan and previously Qatar National U23 team. Moufak represented Qatar in the 2016 AFC U-19 Championship. [3]

Al-Shamal were promoted as champions from the 2nd Division. They last played in the top flight in 2009–10. They are joined by 2nd Division runners up Al-Shahaniya who enter the top flight for the first time in their history. Relegated were Muaither who lasted one season in the top flight and former power-house outfit Al-Rayyan.
