Overwolf is 'the guild for in-game creators', what that means is that we want to promote UGC (user-generated content (mods/apps/game servers/indie games) ) Our main platform 'Overwolf' is a tool to make apps for games, allowing creators to make apps for whatever game they're interested in, while we make sure that these apps are compliant with ...
What are your guyses thoughts on Overwolf? Seems that all the kinda "better" team comp scouting and in-game apps are on Overwolf for example U.gg, Porofessor etc. I've heard some mixed opinions before about Overwolf calling it adware, malware, system resource hogging etc. Have you found any of these claims to be true?
Overwolf is the guild for in-game creators. This is the place to ask questions and ask for help with Overwolf-related matters.
Overwolf are always looking for ways to increase the monitization of their products to the point they have and continue to try and find ways to involve charge into the mod/mod pack distribution. Overwolf owns Curseforge now. A lot of WoW players have switched to Wago.io, WoWInterface and other addon providers because of it. Also, it's amazing I still get the occasional reply to this thread nine years later from people wondering what the fuck this "Overwolf" thing is...
I keep seeing posts pop up about how bad they are and so forth, heck even my guild mates have discussed how bad they are, Yet when ever I look them up its nothing but positive things or literally customer service Q and A’s to issues. I can’t find anything damming against them like everyone seems to claim they are and its odd. Can anyone direct me to recent things that they’ve done wrong ...
