I am actively looking for a job and used open to work feature on LinkedIn (all LinkedIn members can see that I am open to work). Recently LinkedIn comes out with a new feature "open to work frame", which means if I allow all the LinkedIn members to see that I am open to work, the 'open to work frame' will automatically be added on my profile photo.
How can I (in April 2020) turn off notifications of new connections? LinkedIn itself has an ever so (un)helpful help page that purports to discuss precisely that. I'm asking in April 2020. From previous experience, this changes rapidly. Another page shows a button. to notify one's network with changes. Where is this button?
I created a LinkedIn account using email address created by my employer (the company used G Suite for emails). I no longer work for the employer, and hence no longer have access to the email address. I wish to delete the said LinkedIn account as that's not my primary (personal) account. It also shows up prominently in Google searches.
What you are showing in the question body are just images asking LinkedIn users to use the "reactions" feature. To learn about the LinkedIn feed read LinkedIn Feed - Overview. The request is devious in that it starts off with several dots in the password field as if it actually already knows the password. Then I notice it is prompting with the email address I used to sign up with LinkedIn, and my fingers can even start to type the password for that password for my totally separate email account.
Use the Web Developer tools (usually made visible with F12) to see the structure of the web page so that you can work out what to hide. Alternatively, click on the "All Updates" drop down at the top of the list, go to settings and unclick all the options.
However, my mobile device has a Linkedin app, although I have almost never logged into it! The mobile device itself has Gmail permissions, by way of necessity to use the Android apps on my phone with a Gmail account! ... This means that if the Linkedin App 'requires' permissions to my Gmail account, in my phone, it gets them!!!
I remember setting the willing-to-relocate/move field when I first created my LinkedIn profile. I need to change it now, but I cannot find the setting anywhere. I have tried searching for will, move, relo in the profile editor, the public profile, but there’s nothing; even Google isn’t helpful.
