The Cayce Historical Museum exhibits include an extensive Native American artifact collection of over 8,000 items, colonial and American Revolutionary War objects, Civil War objects, an exhibit on the locks on the Congaree River, and an exhibit on the famous Doolittle raiders of World War II who trained in the area before their historic mission.
Cayce Government. The City of Cayce has a Council-Manager form of government under which voters choose a Mayor and four City Council Members in November elections during each odd-numbered year. Terms of office are four years, with Council Members and Mayor serving staggered terms.
Tartan Day South. The 12th Annual Tartan Day South will take place in Spring 2024. This weekend long Celtic Festival features Highland Games while honoring the Celtic culture and heritage in South Carolina's Midlands region. For additional information please visit the Tartan Day South website.
