After using Captain America's shield to kill one of the Flag Smashers in public, John Walker flees the scene. He is pursued by Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes, who demand that Walker hand over the shield. He refuses, and destroys Wilson's wingsuit in the ensuing fight. Wilson and Barnes take the shield from Walker, breaking his arm in the process.
