http://www.wdwmagic.com/beastly.htm 2 September 2005: Height Requirement Expedition Everest is currently set to have a height requirement of 44".
Everest is on a completely different scale compared to Tron. Tron has great launch, especially at night, and a couple cool queue effects. But the inside really falls off and it's way too short. Everest is a good length with a much better overall ride. It has much better theming in my opinion, from the queue to getting off the ride.
I did a search on this topic and could not find anything. I was wandering if anyone knows what the minimum height requirement is for EE? My little one loves to ride everything, but she is only 40 1/2'" tall. Thanks for the help.
You take away the Velociraptors, you're left with just another fast coaster that goes uhh fast, but E.E has some of Imagineering's best work in theming , its a old railway engine, inside Everest, and the story is brilliant, Joe Rohde's attraction cant be beat, Yes the YETI could do with a new lease of life, but its still a good model . my wife's favorite attraction by some margin.
I know it's pretty early, but does anybody know what the height requirement will be for expedition everest? My 44 inch son wants to know how much he'll have to grow:lol:
Before our recent trip to Disney World we measured our son at 41 inches tall. We checked online and he met the minimun height requirements for Expedition...
Rob562 said: Vekoma developed a fast-moving switch for Everest. Disney's requirement was that it complete its move reliably within 7 seconds, and that the track could be taken at-speed. Vekoma based the rotating track switch off of the switch they use on their SLC's to move trains on and off the storage track.
Phew. I've been so worried that it was going to be 69 inches, and that I would need to figure out a way to grow a 1/2 inch by spring.
Everest is bigger, but you are going foward. Everest might not be as bad because it is not a striaght drop, you curve to the left as you drop, but as said before, Everest is 80ft. and Splash Mountain is only 50-something ft.
It is definitely tamer than Revenge of the Mummy. Mummy has the launch and drops in the dark. The trains on Everest are so long that if you sit in the front the trains doesn’t really start accelerating until you’re about 20 down. That’s only 60ft to go down. You'll enjoy it, there aren't that many people who don't
