Cadence of Hyrule is a crossover between Crypt of the NecroDancer and the Legend of Zelda series. In it you traverse an overworld and complete dungeons like you would in a Zelda game but now every action you make, from *moving to attacking, has to be done in time with the beat of the soundtrack.
Very fun - I'd recommend anyone who found the original game too easy to give it a shot. However, it still suffers from the same problem of Story Mode - once you've got some hearts, and some weapons, you're pretty much unstoppable until Future Hyrule Castle. It just takes longer until you become OP in my view.
You cannot switch to Cadence during story mode's Hyrule Castle switching gimmick. Just Zelda and Link! So, Cadence seems to be little more than a cameo who's moveset is poorly thought out and she's implemented more or less like a bonus character. Unless I missed this, this is a shadow drop from nowhere now. Just downloaded it
Surprised there wasn’t a thread. Eshop blurb Get access to three DLC packs as they release with the Cadence of Hyrule Season Pass! First, fight to the rhythm with five additional characters like Impa and Frederick, the shopkeeper, with the Character Pack DLC. This pack also includes two...
They should implement something Smash like system to unlock impossible achievements, some of them are not really "doable"
I'm finally playing through the Symphony of the Mask DLC and remembering how addictive this game can be. I really like the idea of Mystery Dungeon games but have tried many times with little success to get into Pokemon MD, Shiren, Chocobo MD, and the like. Then came along Cadence of Hyrule with two key settings: Fixed-beat mode; Permadeath
Ok, but, umm, what's this thing? Seems like a sheikah jukebox.
