  2. Best grease to use on OU? - Shotgun Forum

It has great adhesion (stays in place) and excellent lubricating qualities over a very wide temperature range. If you have some friends shooting O/Us, buy a case and get them to split the cost with you. Otherwise, go to your local auto parts store and get some good wheel bearing grease. 3. Which chokes for an over/under? - Shotgun Forum

The Muller chokes in U1, U2 and U3 work very well together also. Thanks, Eric. Generally I use IC, LM for a close target course IC, IC. The best choke constrictions for you are those in which you have the most confidence. If you are just starting out I would reccomend skeet on the under bbl and IC on the over bbl.

  4. what is the Best choke, and Over/Under Barrel for Trap?

    www.shotgunworld.com/threads/what-is-the-best-choke-and-over-under-barrel-for...

Many trapguns on purpose. I have put a #6 hanger in my K-80 barrel set to have the bottom barrel shoot 80/20 high and the top barrel shoots 60/40 for trap doubles. In the case I use the K-80 for singles, the 80/% bottom barrel works OK for singles and remains some low for long yardage caps.

  5. Choke set up for O/U - Shotgun Forum

Given the choke assumptions: I/C in the top barrel and skeet in the lower. Shoot the skeet barrel at the inbound bird, 1/C at the outbound bird. I like 005/005 (skt over skt) as even cylinder will break all skeet targets. Work on centering the target. A strong body makes the mind strong.

  6. Good Over/under shotgun for trap shooting | Shotgun Forum

For example the Fabarm Allsport can be purchased as a combo with a trap unsingle 34" barrel, and an over/under barrel set with two POI ribs. You don't say what kind of semi-auto, but the best move may be to keep shooting the existing SA gun for skeet, and buy a dedicated trap gun like a BT-99 (used is a good suggestion).

Look for a Browning CX, CXS, XS, Sporting Clays, 325, 425, 525, etc or a Beretta 686 Sporting. I've seen a number of them offered in the classifieds section of this forum that were priced at $1,500.

I would look for a beretta 686 or browning citori from $1500-1800. I personally use a 686 white onyx sporting w/ optima barrels ($1650) which I love.

  9. Recommendations O/U under $1000 - Shotgun Forum

If you only shoot it a little it just means it'll be longer til you have problems with it. Agree with look at used market B guns.

Now you have the best shotgun under $1000. $585. Yea, the 500 is more. And it is worth every penny more in quality, warranty, and keeping American's working. To defend my 930 statement: Mossberg 930 $511.95 I only pay $25 for transfers, and will assume $20 for shipping, though it is usually about $12.
