Hello folks, I bought a Ruger Mark IV almost 2 months ago. It has about 500 rounds through it. The first 100 rounds, it functioned flawlessly with mini-mags. I haven't been using mini-mags since, but a range of ammo that is decent, such as Aguila super extra and Norma. However, the last 200 odd rounds, the thing has been jamming at least 1-2 ...

Mark I and II mags do not have the notch and therefore will not work in newer guns. I’m sure there’s others here that can give a more technically ...
Stingers are extremely accurate in my short 4.75" barrel Standard model pistols. But they have too much impulse energy and pummel the bolt stop pin, which in turn pummels the receiver holes. I rarely shoot any in my mark pistols. Accuracy stinks in longer barrels IME. So about the only semi auto I can see where they're practical is a short ...

Trigger pull is right at 2lbs and with the bolt tune-up kit no longer have light strikes. I don't think there is a wrong choice between TK and Volquartsen. Ruger 10/22. S&W Shield Plus.
Slow forward about 35 years and the Mark IV Lite appeared on the market, so hubby agreed that we should sell that Mark II and I should order a Mark IV Lite. After two trips back to Ruger plus a couple hundred dollars in Volquartsen and Tandemkross parts, and after uncounted hours working on the magazines which absolutely would not feed properly ...

This one has a few extras beyond that. It started life as a Mark IV target and evolved quickly. I was lucky to snag a LLV from Volquartsen and the rest just came together. Parts list: -Ruger Mark IV target. -4.5" LLV (target + fiber optic sights) -Black Volquatsen bolt. -Volquartsen Accurizing kit. -Stoner CNC grips.

a SS single six Bisley (22lr only) with a 6 1/2 inch barrel. The MKII is fast, accurate and easy to shoot tight groups with. (It is my lady's "go to gun" at the range) It is also one of the very few autoloaders I own. The single six's are slow, pretty accurate, and also easy to shoot. The MKII is the more accurate gun, BUT the single six's are ...
