   Fm radio is pretty bad in my area now it seems to be getting worse every year when the local classic rock station thinks that 90's & 2000's are classic rock like blink 182 & green day. 25 30 years ago you really didn't need sat.radio & nobody really knew what it was. but now you really do need something else besides regular FM/AM radio.

    Thanks! I realized after posting the last note that this subreddit isn’t specific to Sirius - just the genre (I don’t think I knew the term before dealing w Sirius and their station of same name). As for price for Sirius, it’s a game for me to max out the deal I get. I am dealing w 4 radios - in laws, married daughter, wife and mine.

    My old car was a Ford Sync2 radio with a SXM Music & Entertainment sub. All the local NFL broadcasts were included, but they preempted random channels from about 80-130 and you just had to hunt for them. Now I have a Ford Sync3 with a trial of SXM Platinum. The channel guide only shows channels by genre, and NFL Play by Play is on 225-234.
