HCL Technologies Limited (d/b/a HCLTech) is an Indian multinational information technology (IT) consulting company headquartered in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Founded by Shiv Nadar , it was spun out in 1991 when HCL entered into the software services business.
It is being built on a PPP model in partnership with HCL Technologies. It is the second major investment by an IT Company in Lucknow, the first being Tata Consultancy Services which has its TCS Awadh Campus present in the city in which thousands of engineers are already working.
