Hugh McKean (October 27, 1967 – October 30, 2022) was an American politician from Loveland, Colorado. A Republican, McKean represented Colorado House of Representatives District 51, which encompasses Loveland and the surrounding area. He was first elected in 2016. [3]
He was a county commissioner of Larimer County, Colorado, and a Republican member of the Colorado Senate. From 2003 to 2009, Johnson represented the 15th Senate district, encompassing rural Larimer County and the cities of Loveland and Estes Park. [3] Previously he was a member of the Colorado House of Representatives from 1997 through 2002.
Loveland is the home rule municipality that is the second most populous municipality in Larimer County, Colorado, United States. Loveland is situated 46 miles (74 km) north of the Colorado State Capitol in Denver and is the 14th most populous city in Colorado. As of the 2020 census the population of Loveland was 76,378. [8]
In retirement, he moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico and later to Loveland, Colorado. [4] During his 37 years in Los Angeles, which began in 1966, he won numerous awards, including an Emmy and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on 14 May 1999, located at 6420 Hollywood Boulevard. [5]
