All Creatures Great and Small is a television series set in 1930s and 1940s Northern England, [1] based upon a series of books about a Yorkshire veterinary surgeon written by Alf Wight under the pen name of James Herriot.

All Creatures Great and Small has been adapted for the stage by Simon Stallworthy. The play was first staged in 2010 at the Gala Theatre, Durham , with Jack Wharrier playing Tristan. [ 31 ] In 2014, a provincial tour of the play was produced by Bill Kenwright , [ 32 ] with Tristan being played by Lee Latchford-Evans . [ 33 ]
