Battlefield 1 is a first-person shooter game developed by DICE and published by Electronic Arts. It is the tenth installment in the Battlefield series [1] and the first main entry in the series since Battlefield 4 in 2013. [2] It was released for PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, and Xbox One in October 2016.
The games take place during historical events, an alternate history, and in the future. Gameplay is mainly composed of first-person shooter aspects, with a large emphasis on vehicle combat on land, in the air, and to some extent, the sea. A commercial success, the Battlefield series had sold 4.4 million units as of October 2004. [1]
