The second stage where you enter three random characters from your password was different from what It has been for years. It looked as if it had been redesigned to help users who might have vision problems, larger print etc.
24 June 2009 at 3:23PM. Call Halifax's online security department on 08456 02 00 00 IMMEDIATELY to have everything reset and your account blocked. Also, call every other bank/building society that you have accounts with and ask them to block your account or reset your logon details. It is better to be safe than sorry.
30 September 2012 at 9:27AM. Your statement tells you the various ways of paying. I put my money in a Halifax Online Saver account and send a post dated bill payment from there. Earns a bit of interest. You can also set up a facility to pay the credit card bill from your own bank account. Lots of other options too.
