Is there a moderately simple way (i.e. involving no programming) to freeze multiple non-contiguous rows in Excel 2010? I've got a worksheet containing a number of tables and have frozen the header row of the topmost table.

Click in A3 and use Freeze Panes should freeze rows 1 and 2 in place. If you click in B3 then the top 2 rows plus column A should not scroll out of view. In Excel to freeze rows you just need to select the row beneath those rows you want to freeze and click Freeze Panes on the View Menu, and then click Freeze Panes again on the drop down menu, or if you see Unfreexe Panes, click that first. So, if you want to freeze rows 1 to 5, select row 6 and freeze panes. Power to the Developer!

Replied on July 1, 2017. Report abuse. Since the first option is Unfreeze Panes, you must already have applied Freeze Panes, Freeze Top Row or Freeze First Column. So select Unfreeze Panes. Select the row below the last row that you want to freeze. The first option in the dropdown should now read Freeze Panes. ---.
