I didn't know this but a mechanic at the Ford truck dealership I was at said, "Fill the truck tires to what the inside of the truck door says you should, not what the tires say."

Trailer tires are meant to be run at the max air pressure rating written on the sidewall. To check alignment run a tape from center of tongue to both sides of hub. Compare measurements and adjust as necessary. Plenty of YouTube videos that will walk you through both procedures. Good luck. 1.

Take both tires/rims off, take them to the local tire place, and have them put new tires on my rims. Simple as that. I got 6 years use out of the set that came with the trailer, and 2 years into the second set and they look like new yet, even though they have quite a bit of mileage on them already, I think they are a better tire, then what came ...

My PB: Between 7-8 lbs. Favorite Bass: Largemouth. Favorite Lake or River Lake Hartwell. Posted September 16. So it seems the cause of my flat tires the other week on my trailer was from tire rot. Hard to believe trailer tires are so expensive. So if one tire has rot the other tire will be going flat soon.

Do a search, and you'll find you can also run light truck tires on boat trailers. They'll probably be less expensive, and last longer. I've seen some posts that claim they only get ten thousand or so miles out of their trailer tires. I've put over 12,000 on my rig in the past two years and the tires look like new.
