I’ve been bleeding between my periods on and off for a good few months. I’ve had an ultrasound done and they found a small ovarian cyst, but other than that everything was fine. They said the cyst isn’t the cause of the bleeding it was just found by chance. One of the doctors thinks I may have endometriosis, but today I had a consultation ...
But the fact that you’ve already had an abnormal pap and colposcopy is slightly worrying, because bleeding outside your period is also a symptom of cervical cancer. It’s very unlikely you have it, but I think further investigation is warranted, especially if you have any other symptoms. 4. Reply. Share.
This is absolutely normal, and the very definition of what perimenopause is irregular periods. We often assumes it means that periods will get further apart and not closer together, but we can often get 2 periods a month; they can be heavy, longer, clotty, etc. If you are concerned then it's best to get it checked out just to calm your fears ...
I would ask for a hysteroscopy. yes, this is super normal for me & honestly it's super annoying as well. But it is common for endometriosis & it isn't something too serious unless you bleed a lot. Spotting/bleeding can happen between periods because of cysts. It is also possible to have spotting during ovulation.
I've started randomly bleeding between periods about 1.5 years ago. At first it started as just a strand of blood in my otherwise normal discharge, then I started having blood tinged discharge after exercise, bowel movements, and after orgasm (no penetration). Since about year ago, it's gotten progressively worse to wear I'm bleeding in between ...
Of course if you have other problems like sharp pain or fever or so, or any pregnancy symptoms, do make sure it's not ectopic pregnancy, etc. But it can just be normal copper IUD 'bleeding pattern alteration'. I got this too..for about a year. Just got mine removed, fingers crossed it will go away. I’ve had my copper IUD since November of ...
So I’ve been taking Marvelon (28 day combined pill) since September or October and almost every month I will bleed very dark red for a week during active pills. It’s always the week that ovulation would occur. I’ve heard that spotting is normal while on the pill but I’d consider how much I’m bleeding more than just spotting.
Stress, low quality sleep, changes to your diet, ovulation, etc. can all cause spotting/breakthrough bleeding. It sounds like you're worried so definitely find a good obgyn to discuss this with and consider using an app (I really like Clue) to track your symptoms.
I started bleeding between my periods and I feel like it just keeps increasing. Anytime that I also force for like either pee or poo, I bleed a bit. But now it's starting to bother my daily like and probably need to wear a liner pad. It's not a huge amount but I spot everyday single day.
Heavy bleeding in between periods. My periods are extremely regular and very predictable every month. I got my period back about 18 months after I had my child and I haven’t had any irregularity since they’ve been back. However, I have had frequent pelvic pains since my child has been born, still happening to this day.
