Bratz is an American fashion doll and media franchise created by former Mattel employee Carter Bryant for MGA Entertainment, which debuted in 2001. [1]The four original 10-inch (25 cm) dolls were released on May 21, 2001 — Yasmin (ethnically ambiguous, though predominantly Middle Eastern or Latina coded), Cloe (White), Jade (East Asian), and Sasha (Black).
Each completed level unlocks new fashions, dance moves to use in the "freestyle" mode, and the next level. At the end of the game, the player unlocks a bonus level. There are 5 different bonus levels, each one specific to the five Bratz girls available to play (Yasmin, Cloe, Sasha, Jade, or Meygan).
The first Bratz Kidz film was released on July 31, 2007. Like the other 3-D Bratz films, it was released straight to DVD. The film—adapted on the Kidz 'Sleep-Over Adventure' line—centers around a new character to the Bratz franchise, named Ginger, who invites Jade, Sasha, Meygan, Cloe and Yasmin to her sleepover to make new friends.
