Chenango Valley State Park is a 1,137-acre (4.60 km 2) state park located in Broome County, New York in the United States. [2] [4] The park is located adjacent to the Chenango River in western part of the Town of Fenton. The park includes the 18-hole Chenango Valley State Park Golf Course. [1] [5] [6]
Situated along the Malibu coast, the park is a component of Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. With 1.5 miles (2.4 km) of beach, the parkland stretches into the Santa Monica Mountains. The park has expanded into Ventura County and also includes management of County Line Beach. [1]
Camp Bloomfield was a 45-acre (180,000 m 2) campground in the Santa Monica Mountains near Malibu, California, United States.In 1958, Henry Bloomfield purchased the land, donating its use to the Foundation for the Junior Blind (now known as Wayfinder Family Services) to create a camp for children and youth who are blind, visually impaired or multi-disabled.
Firestation 56 is located at the southern end of County Line Beach and the 2008 station features two engine bays, living quarters for the crew, offices, an exercise room and shop. The Malibu Fire Station is staffed by three firefighters and houses Engine 56, Brush Engine 356. Also assigned are two Rescue Water Craft (jet-ski), and Patrol 56. [7]
