The Stearns Building is a historic commercial building at 289–309 Bridge Street in downtown Springfield, Massachusetts. The six-story building was built in 1912 for the Dunlap Realty Group. It is an early example (and the best preserved) of Neo-Gothic design applied to large office buildings in Springfield.

Stearns was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on September 24, 1817. He was the elder son of the Hon. Charles Stearns. His mother, Julia Ann Woodward, was a granddaughter of the Rev. Dr. Benjamin Trumbull of North Haven, Connecticut. [1] Stearns graduated from Yale College in 1837.
