Biddeford Main Street Historic District is an historic district in downtown Biddeford, Maine, USA.It encompasses the heart of the city's civic and commercial business district, extending along Main and Water Streets between Pike and Elm Streets, extending for short distances along several side streets.

Casavant is also the elected Mayor of Biddeford, holding that position since November 2011 when he defeated incumbent Mayor Joanne Twomey. [1] His support grew in the 2017 election. [2] He served as a Biddeford City Council member from 1976 to 1992. [3] He retired as a teacher at Biddeford High School in 2012. [4]

The First Parish Meetinghouse is a historic colonial meeting house at Meeting House Road and Old Pool Road in Biddeford, Maine. Built in 1758, it is the oldest public building in the city, and is one of the oldest buildings of its type in the state. It served as a combined church and town hall until about 1840.
The Old Post Office is a historic former post office building at 35 Washington Street in Biddeford, Maine. Built in 1914, it is a fine local example of Classical Revival architecture, and a prototype for post offices built in the following decades. The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. [1]
