In the early 2000s, the chain entered into a franchise agreement with Wakefern Food Corporation's Price Rite, opening their first Price Rite store in 2007. In 2016 the chain opened a second Price Rite store, [5] bringing their total store count to 10. The MarketPlace owns and operates both stores and hosts a separate website from Price Rite US. [6]
Although Eastland itself was a single-story mall, all three of its original anchor stores were constructed with two stories of retail space.
