Alford is a market town and civil parish in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England, at the foot of the Lincolnshire Wolds, which form an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The population was recorded as 3,459 in the 2011 Census and estimated at 3,830 in 2021. [ 1 ]

Salmonby is a village in the civil parish of Tetford, in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated 5.5 miles (8.9 km) north-east from Horncastle, 10 miles (16 km) south from Louth and 8 miles (13 km) north-west from Spilsby. Salmonby lies within the Lincolnshire Wolds, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The village is situated approximately 4 miles (6 km) south-west from Mablethorpe, and just to the east of the A1104 road. In 1961 the parish had a population of 100. [1] On 1 April 1987 the parish was abolished to form "Beesby with Saleby". [2] The Grade II listed parish church is dedicated to St Andrew. [3]
St Peter's Church at Christmas Holton le Clay Cricket Club holds two main annual events. Holton Rocks!!! is a showcase of independent artists and since its launch in 2010 attracts visitors of all ages and is family oriented.
